Yili Xu, PhD student
Yili is a second-year PhD student in Epidemiology since 2021. He is currently working on the RESPOND project. He received his MS in Translational Biotechnology from the University of Southern California.
Anthony Colombo, PhD student
Anthony is a first-year PhD student in Epidemiology since 2021. He is currently working on various projects related to social and pathobiological factors in cancer development.
Jingxuan He, PhD student
Jingxuan is a fourth-year PhD student in Biostatistics since 2019. She is currently working on the xtune project where she integrates the prior information into regularized regression. She also involves in application projects in environmental epidemiology which she use hierarchical Bayesian approaches to explore relationship between health outcome and environmental exposures. She received her MS in Biostatistics from Columbia University and BS in Life Science from Wuhan University, Hubei, China.
Jiayi (Sylvia) Shen, PhD student
Sylvia is a third-year PhD student in Biostatistics since 2020. She is currently working on the JAM project where she extends the JAM framework into a multi-ethnicity and/or multi-studies setting. She received her MS in Biostatistics from Columbia University and BS in University College London, London, UK.
Michael Chase, Project Manager
Michael Chase is a project manager in Conti’s lab and MS Biostatistics student since 2021. He is currently working on several projects within the PRIMED and RESPOND studies. Michael received his BS in Nutritional Sciences, Biochemistry and Biology from the Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA.
